About the Role

The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for laying the framework for our public perception and marketing efforts. They will design, implement, and analyze marketing strategies that will share our brand voice, engage our target audiences, and build a community of loyal customers and followers. This is a 9-4pm on-site job, with occasional hybrid work opportunities.

This position will be responsible for overseeing all office operations, including, but not limited to:
• Collaborating with ownership and executive team on digital and physical marketing strategies
• Leveraging social media to identify and acquire potential customers while engaging existing ones
• Obtaining market share by developing social media marketing plans and programs for each product and directing promotional support ads and campaigns for Instagram, Google, YouTube, and Facebook (and other social media platforms)
• Maintaining online presence and relationships with customers by organizing and developing specific customer retention programs
• Providing short and long term market forecasts and reports by directing market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data
• Developing new approaches for market development
• Maintaining research databases
• Identifying and assembling current market information to make timely and effective decisions
• Providing marketing information by answering questions and requests from relevant parties
• Achieving financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and making necessary changes to increase effectiveness and efficiency
• Creating a strong brand presence with innovative promotional offerings using online and offline marketing campaigns
• Collaborating with the sales team to ensure marketing efforts support sales efforts
• Attending weekly company meetings
• Performing ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

  • A degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field

  • Minimum 2 years of digital marketing experience

  • Experience using Google and Microsoft suites

  • Demonstratable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing databases, and social media advertising campaigns

  • Experience using Adobe Illustrator, Creative Cloud, and Lightroom

  • Strong ability to network and communicate with staff, vendors, and clients

  • Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics, including working knowledge of ad-serving tools

  • 2+ years creating and publishing marketing materials for print and digital media

  • 1+ years experience building and delivering reports to higher management

  • Ability to update, format, and manage website content

  • Very strong time-management and task-management skills with high attention to detail

  • Have or willing to obtain Part 107 UAS (drone) license within first month of hire date

  • Able to safely operate a company-provided drone

  • Have experience or willing to learn internal postcard mailing system

  • Positive personality with a can-do attitude

  • Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively in a team environment
